Manama, March 8 (QNA) - King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa of the Kingdom of Bahrain condemned the Iranian aggression against his country and several Arab states, describing it as an unprecedented act of aggression that cannot be justified under any pretext.

In a speech today, the King of Bahrain affirmed that Bahrain has always been and will remain a nation of peace, never initiating hostilities against anyone. He emphasized that Bahrain has consistently pursued a path of cooperation and good neighborliness. He also expressed his appreciation for the readiness, vigilance, and national responsibility demonstrated by the Bahraini Armed Forces and all relevant agencies in confronting these attacks, praising their efforts in thwarting attempts to undermine the country's security and protect the safety of citizens and residents.

The Bahraini King also commended the support and solidarity his country has received from the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) states and several other brotherly and friendly nations, expressing his gratitude for the communications he received that affirmed support for Bahrain and its stability.

He reiterated that Bahrain will continue its wise and moderate approach in dealing with regional developments, and will continue to fulfill its obligations towards its Arab surroundings and the international community. (QNA)
