Cairo, March 07 (QNA) - Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty and his Kazakh counterpart Yermek Kosherbayev discussed, in a telephone call Saturday, the developments of the military escalation unfolding in the Middle East region as well as their repercussions on regional security and stability.

During the conversation, Abdelatty stressed the importance of de-escalation and prioritizing diplomatic solutions to avoid spillover of the conflict and to spare the risks of further instability.

He stressed that the continuation of military escalation will only exacerbate the situation, indicating that what matters the most is respecting nations' sovereignty and adhering to the tenets of good neighborliness and restraint. (QNA)
