Palestinian Youth Martyred by Settler Gunfire South of Hebron
Hebron, March 07 (QNA) - A Palestinian youth was killed, and another was wounded on Saturday evening after being shot by Israeli settlers south of Hebron in the occupied West Bank.
The Palestinian News Agency (WAFA), quoting medical sources, reported that a Palestinian citizen was martyred and his brother critically injured when settlers opened fire on them while they were near their home in Khirbet Wadi Al Rakheem, located in Masafer Yatta, south of Hebron.
The incident raises the number of Palestinians killed by settlers since the beginning of this year to four, according to figures released by the colonization and wall resistance commission.
Since Oct. 7, 2023, the number of Palestinians killed in settler attacks has reached 40, amid a surge in assaults by settlers on Palestinian villages, towns and communities across the West Bank. (QNA)
