Gaza, March 31 (QNA) - The death toll from Israeli attacks on the Gaza Strip, which have continued since Oct. 7, 2023, has risen to 72,285 killed and 172,028 wounded, the Gaza Health Ministry said in a statement today.
It added that five people killed and 14 wounded were brought to hospitals in the enclave over the past 24 hours, noting that the overall toll since the ceasefire in October has soared to 709 dead and 1,928 wounded.
The statement noted that 756 bodies have been pulled from under the rubble of buildings destroyed by the war, and that efforts continue to search for the remains of others trapped under the debris. (QNA)
