Gaza, March 30 (QNA) - The health ministry in Gaza Strip has announced the death toll from Israeli occupation's ongoing military campaign in the territory has risen to 72,280, with 172,014 people reported injured since 7 October 2023.
In a statement on Monday, the ministry said hospitals had received two more bodies of people who died from their injuries in the past 24 hours, along with one new injury.
It added that a number of victims remain trapped under rubble or in the streets, with ambulance and civil defense teams unable to reach them.
The ministry also said that since a ceasefire announced in October last year, a total of 704 people have been killed and 1,914 injured, while 756 bodies have been recovered from under the rubble. (QNA)
