Qatar Takes Part in International Maritime Organization FAL 50 Meetings

London, March 29 (QNA) - The State of Qatar, represented by the Qatar Mission to the International Maritime Organization (IMO), took part in the meetings of the 50th Session of the IMO Facilitation Committee (FAL 50), held at the IMO in London.

Key topics discussed included adopting seamless procedures at ports, accelerating maritime digitalization, and enhancing international cooperation among IMO Member States to ensure an uninterrupted trade flow and an efficient and sustainable maritime industry.

Qatar pays attention to such meetings to contribute to supporting global efforts to develop the maritime industry and enhance supply chains efficiency.

The Qatari delegation stressed the country's commitment to supporting IMO initiatives and working with international partners for a maritime transportation industry that is securer and more efficient. (QNA)
