QFFD Supports More Than 10,600 Palestinian Families Stranded in Egypt
Doha, March 22 (QNA) - Qatar Fund for Development (QFFD) provided shopping vouchers to benefit more than 10,600 Palestinian families stranded in the Arab Republic of Egypt, as part of ongoing humanitarian efforts to support families affected by the repercussions of the Israeli aggression on Gaza.
In a statement on Sunday, QFFD said that this support aims to enable beneficiary families to secure the requirements of a decent life amid the loss of income sources and the absence of regular assistance, thereby alleviating the living burdens faced by these families outside their homeland.
This step comes in support of their basic needs and to strengthen their resilience in the face of challenging humanitarian conditions.
The intervention represents an extension of the State of Qatar’s efforts and its steadfast position in standing alongside the people of Gaza and Palestine, reaffirming its continued humanitarian support for the Palestinian people under all circumstances. (QNA)
