Kuwaiti Interior Ministry Announces Handling 21 Reports Related to Falling Shrapnel
Kuwait, March 19 (QNA) - The Kuwaiti Ministry of Interior confirmed Thursday that its bomb disposal teams responded to 21 reports in the past 24 hours related to falling shrapnel resulting from defensive interceptions of Iranian attacks. This brings the total number of reports handled by security teams since the beginning of the aggression to 442.
Brigadier General Nasser Bouslaib, spokesperson for the Kuwaiti Ministry of Interior, said during a media briefing on current events and the latest field developments that specialized teams were immediately dispatched upon receiving the reports, following established procedures to secure the sites and ensure the safety of citizens and residents.
The Kuwaiti Ministry of Interior spokesperson explained that the sirens were activated four times in the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of activations since the beginning of the aggression to 98.
He also presented a video clip showing several reports of falling debris or objects outside the threat zone.
He urged everyone who hears the sirens while in shopping malls and public places to adhere to security guidelines and the instructions of site management and security personnel, and to proceed calmly and orderly to the emergency exits, avoiding crowding or gathering in groups, for everyone's safety.
