Abu Dhabi, March 19 (QNA) - HH UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and US President Donald Trump discussed Thursday via phone the developments in the region and their serious repercussions for regional and international peace and security, exchanging views on the situation.

According to the Emirates News Agency, the call also addressed the ongoing and blatant Iranian attacks against the United Arab Emirates and other countries in the region, targeting civilians, civilian facilities and infrastructure, in violation of these states' sovereignty and international law.

The US president condemned the attacks, affirming the United States' solidarity with the UAE and other countries in the region and its full support for their efforts to defend their territory, stability and security. (QNA)
