Jordan Announces Interception of 79 Missiles, Drones Over Past Week

Amman, March 14 (QNA) - The Jordan Armed Forces announced that it dealt with 85 Iranian missiles and drones that targeted the country's territory over the past week.

In a statement issued Saturday, the armed forces said the Jordanian Air Force intercepted 79 missiles and drones, while five drones and one missile fell inside Jordan.

The statement added that civil defense and police units handled 93 reports of falling objects and debris during the past week, resulting in nine moderate injuries. All those injured were discharged from the hospital after receiving treatment.

The armed forces affirmed that they will continue to carry out their duty to defend and protect the country from any aggression, stressing that they are mobilizing all efforts and capabilities to preserve the security of Jordan and the safety of its citizens. (QNA)
