Cairo, March 14 (QNA) - The Arab League has condemned in the strongest possible terms the cascading Israeli bombing raids on civilian objects and property in Lebanon, including the bridges that were detonated by the occupation forces, as well as ongoing airstrikes on residential areas in Beirut, generating severe risks for civilians.

In a statement on Saturday, Secretary-General of the Arab League, Ahmed Aboul Gheit, expressed full solidarity with the State of Lebanon, which seeks by all means possible to prevent involvement in the ongoing war in the region.

Aboul Gheit stressed that Israel's plans to reoccupy Lebanese territories reflect a rejected and condemned expansionist policy that hinders opportunities to enforce the Lebanese government's decisions. (QNA)
