Abu Dhabi, March 13 (QNA) - HH President of the United Arab Emirates Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan discussed regional developments during a phone call on Friday with HM King Abdullah II of Jordan.
The two leaders reviewed the escalating military conflict and its serious repercussions, which threaten the security and stability of the region.

During the call, King Abdullah II condemned the attack targeting the UAE Consulate in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq, stressing that it constitutes a grave violation of international norms and conventions that guarantee the full protection of diplomatic missions and their premises.

Both sides underscored the need to work toward an immediate cessation of military operations and to prioritize serious dialogue and diplomatic solutions to address the region's outstanding issues, in order to prevent further escalation and preserve regional security and stability. (QNA)
