Doha, March 12 (QNA) - HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani received Thursday a phone call from HE President of the Republic of Uganda Yoweri Museveni.

At the beginning of the call, the Ugandan President inquired about the situation in the State of Qatar in light of the blatant Iranian attacks it is facing.

HH the Amir expressed his gratitude and appreciation to HE the Ugandan President for his sincere sentiments, praising the existing relations of friendship and cooperation between the two countries.

During the call, the two sides discussed the latest developments in the region, stressing the importance of an immediate cessation of hostilities and intensifying regional and international efforts to contain the crisis, in a way that strengthening regional and international security and stability.
