At Least 12 Killed in Israeli Airstrikes on Southern Lebanon
Beirut, March 11 (QNA) – Israeli warplanes have intensified their airstrikes on southern Lebanon, killing at least 12 people.
The Lebanese Ministry of Health stated in a press release that an airstrike on the town of Tibnin, in the Bint Jbeil district of southern Lebanon, resulted in an initial death toll of eight people, while two people were killed in an airstrike on Shaqra, also in southern Lebanon.
An Israeli drone strike on the area between the towns of Haboush and Arab Salim also resulted in the deaths of two people.
Israeli warplanes launched a series of airstrikes on towns in southern Lebanon, including Toulene, Kfar, Qabrikha, Zibqine, Hanawiya, Tayr Harfa, Zrarieh, Tibtin, Bint Jbeil, Majdal Zoun, Beit Yahoun, Kounine, and Haris.
The town of Antar and the city of Bint Jbeil were also subjected to successive airstrikes.
Israeli warplanes launched a fierce aerial attack on the city of Nabatieh in southern Lebanon and its surrounding area, carrying out a series of raids.
One strike targeted a residential building in the Rabieh neighborhood, while another targeted an entrance near Jabal Amel Hospital in Al Bass, also in southern Lebanon.
Qatar News Agency (QNA) correspondent in Beirut reported that an Israeli airstrike Wednesday morning on an apartment in the Aisha Bakkar area of Beirut injured four civilians. She noted that the apartment was located in a densely populated residential area. (QNA)
