Doha, April 04 (QNA) - Qatar reached the quarterfinals of HH the Amir Volleyball Cup for the 2025-2026 season after defeating Al Khor 3-0 in their match today, part of the first group stage of the qualifiers held at the Qatar Volleyball Association Hall.

Qatar secured the victory with 25-19, 25-12, 25-13 to achieve second win in the competition after their initial victory over Al Gharafa 3-1. This gave them a perfect record of 6 points to top their group.

Meanwhile, Al Gharafa finished second with 3 points, also securing their place in the quarterfinals. After two consecutive losses, Al Khor were eliminated from the competition to finish third with no points.

In a Group B match, Al Ahli qualified for the same round after defeating Al Shamal 3-1 (25-19, 25-22, 13-25, 25-21), securing second place with 3 points. Al Shamal were eliminated from the competition after two consecutive losses.

Al Sadd had already booked their place in the quarterfinals after two wins against Al Shamal (3-0) and Al Ahli (3-1) in the qualifying rounds to lead their group. (QNA)
