Palestinian Woman Martyred From Wounds Sustained in Israeli War on Gaza
Gaza, February 08 (QNA) - A Palestinian woman was martyred Sunday after succumbing to wounds she sustained during the Israeli war on the Gaza Strip.
According to medical sources, the woman was martyred as a result of injuries she suffered when her family’s home was shelled in Rafah, in the southern Gaza Strip, during the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip.
Meanwhile, the Israeli occupation army continued its violations of the ceasefire agreement with airstrikes and artillery shelling on various areas of the Gaza Strip.
Israeli warplanes launched, at dawn, a series of airstrikes on the city of Rafah in southern Gaza Strip. They also carried out an airstrike and opened fire with machine guns east of Khan Younis.
The ceasefire agreement between Hamas and the Israeli entity came into effect on Oct. 10, following the withdrawal of the occupation army from the sites and populated areas in the Gaza Strip, and the start of the return of displaced people to the northern parts, as part of the first phase of US President Donald Trump's initiative to end the war on Gaza.
The death toll from the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip has risen to 72,027 martyrs and 171,561 wounded since Oct. 7, 2023. (QNA)
