Kyiv, February 8 (QNA) - One person was killed and eight others were injured in heavy airstrikes targeting the Zaporizhzhia region of southern Ukraine.

Head of Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration Ivan Fedorov said that Russian forces carried out 24 airstrikes, in addition to attacking Vilniansk with a total of 297 drones of various types.

Reports from Ukraine and Russia regarding the situation on the ground are conflicting and cannot be independently verified due to the ongoing war since Feb. 2022. (QNA)
