Lebanese Army Commander, French Foreign Minister Discuss Developments in Lebanon, Region
Beirut, February 07 (QNA) - Commander of the Lebanese Armed Forces, Brigadier General Rodolphe Haykal discussed on Saturday with French Foreign Minister Jean-Yves Baroux, who is currently visiting Lebanon, the overall situation and developments in Lebanon and the region, as well as the requirements needed to enhance the army's capabilities.
The meeting also addressed preparations for the Lebanese Army Support Conference in France, scheduled to be held in Paris on 5 March.
Lebanese Prime Minister Nawaf Salam met on Friday with the French Foreign Minister to discuss developments in Lebanon and the Middle East, as well as ongoing preparations for the Lebanese Army Support Conference. (QNA)
