Milan, February 06 (QNA) - HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thaniآ attended the opening ceremony of the Winter Olympic Games Milano Cortina 2026, in its 25th edition, held at the San Siro Stadium in Milan, the Italian Republic.
The ceremony was attended by a number of Their Excellencies and Highnesses heads of state and government, senior officials, as well as presidents and representatives of Olympic committees from brotherly and friendly countries.
Also in attendance were a number of Their Excellencies members of the official delegation accompanying HH the Amir.
The opening ceremony featured a variety of artistic and cultural performances celebrating the launch of the Games, followed by the parade of participating nations' flags and athletic delegations, before the Olympic flame was lit to mark the official opening of the Games. (QNA)
