Doha, February 07 (QNA) - Al Arabi strengthened their lead in the Qatar Men's Handball League after defeating Al Ahli 26-22 in the seventh round of the competition.
Al Arabi now have 21 points, maintaining their perfect record and remaining undefeated. Al Ahli remain in fourth place with 14 points.
In another match, Al Duhail defeated Al Gharafa 27-20 to move up to second place with 19 points, while Al Gharafa remain in ninth place with 10 points, just one point ahead of Al Shamal in tenth place.
Al Rayyan defeated Al Sadd 23-22, bringing their total to 17 points and placing them third. Al Sadd have 13 points, placing them sixth, behind Al Wakrah, with same points but a better goal difference after their 29-21 victory over Al Shamal.
Qatar club, which achieved victory over Al Khor with 29-27, raising their tally to 13 points in seventh place, with a smaller goal difference than Al Wakrah and Al Sadd, while Al Khor remained in eighth place with 11 points. (QNA)
