One Person Killed, 29 Injured in Israeli Airstrikes on Eastern Lebanon
Beirut, February 26 (QNA) - One person was killed and 29 others were injured Thursday in airstrikes launched by the Israel on the Bekaa Valley, eastern Lebanon.
The Israeli airstrikes targeted towns and mountainous areas in the Baalbek district of eastern Lebanon.
The Lebanese Ministry of Health stated in a press release that the airstrikes resulted in the death of a 16-year-old Syrian boy and injuries to 19 others.
For its part, the Lebanese National News Agency reported that Israeli warplanes launched two separate attacks targeting the outskirts of the town of Nabi Chit, near the Al Shaara area on the eastern slopes of the Lebanese mountains.
It also launched two airstrikes targeting the heights of the Beit Msheik farms west of Baalbek, and the mountainous areas of the town of Buday for the third time today. (QNA)
