Settlers Escalate Attacks in West Bank Under Israeli Occupation Forces' Protection
Occupied Jerusalem, July 19 (QNA) - Settlers escalated their attacks across several governorates in the occupied West Bank on Sunday, setting fire to mosques and homes, assaulting Palestinians and damaging property, under the protection of the occupation forces.
In the village of al-Tuwani in Masafer Yatta, settlers set fire last night to two homes belonging to local Palestinian families and the al-Tuwani Mosque. The attack, carried out using highly flammable materials, caused fires to spread across large parts of the properties.
Settlers also vandalized and damaged Palestinian property.
In Nablus governorate, settlers attacked al-Zahra area on the outskirts of Beita town to the south, assaulting residents and damaging homes and property. Four Palestinians sustained bruises in the attack. Last night, settlers also burned down a Palestinian home south of the village of Tell, south of Nablus, completely destroying it.
