Ramallah, February 23 (QNA) - A Palestinian man was injured by Israeli occupation forces' gunfire during a raid on the city of Al-Bireh in the occupied West Bank on Sunday.

The Palestine Red Crescent Society (PRCS) said the man sustained a head injury after being struck by a rubber-coated metal bullet during the operation, during which Israeli forces also fired live ammunition and tear gas.

Meanwhile, Israeli occupation forces raided the town of Hizma, northeast of Jerusalem, preventing worshipers from leaving the town's mosque following the Isha and Taraweeh prayers, according to sources from the Jerusalem Governorate. No arrests were reported.

Israeli forces also stormed the town of Tuqu, southeast of Bethlehem, deploying across several neighborhoods, local sources said.

During the raid, forces fired tear gas canisters and stun grenades, though no injuries were reported, the sources added.

Cities and towns across the occupied West Bank and Jerusalem have been subjected to near-daily incursions by Israeli occupation forces, often accompanied by confrontations, arrests, and the use of live ammunition, rubber-coated bullets, and tear gas against Palestinian residents. (QNA)
