Doha,  February 16 (QNA) -Education Above All (EAA) Foundation, in collaboration with the Ministry of Education and Higher Education (MOEHE) and Qatar Charity, this week celebrated the official opening of the Fourth Assalam School, marking another milestone under the "Together" Project established to support at-risk learners and children facing barriers that prevent them from accessing or continuing quality education.

The school, which officially began operations in January 2025, reflects the partners’ efforts to achieve tangible outcomes and create positive change in the lives of students and their families, while strengthening Assalam model designed to provide flexible and inclusive educational approaches.

The school serves 591 primary-level students aged 7 to 12. The morning shift accommodates 280 students following the Qatari national curriculum for Arabic speakers, while the afternoon shift includes 311 students studying the British curriculum for non-Arabic speakers, underscoring a commitment to expanding access to education in line  with national priorities.

On this occasion, CEO of the Education Above All Foundation, Mohammed Al Kaabi, stated that the fourth Assalam School demonstrates the ability of flexible education to bridge gaps and restore opportunities for vulnerable children. He noted that classrooms have become spaces of hope that build confidence in the future, emphasizing that the achievement reflects an effective partnership placing students’ interests at the forefront and transforming access to education from a service initiative into a genuine development opportunity.

For his part, CEO of Qatar Charity, Yousef bin Ahmed Al Kuwari, stressed that the partnership has evolved from humanitarian response to sustainable human development. He reaffirmed Qatar Charity’s commitment to ensuring that children who have faced displacement or economic hardship are given a second chance to learn and grow, based on the belief that education is a fundamental right for every child.

The inauguration ceremony featured an interactive tour titled "Real Learning: From Classroom to the podium," showcasing student-led STEM experiments, exhibitions, debates, flexible learning pathways, and an agriculture project.

Since its inception, Assalam Schools initiative has served more than 21,758 students of diverse nationalities through an educational model that promotes diversity and inclusion, while providing integrated support services, including healthcare, psychological support and non-traditional educational programs, in line with human and social development pillars of Qatar National Vision 2030.
