Palestinian Elderly Killed in Israeli Shelling in Rafah
Gaza, February 01 (QNA) - An Israeli drone on Sunday attacked Al‑Shakoush area northwest of Rafah city in the southern Gaza Strip, killing an elderly man, bringing the fatality toll in the Gaza Strip today to two Palestinians, local sources reported.
The sources added that a Palestinian was killed at dawn after Israeli occupation fighter jets hit a group of Palestinians near Salah Al‑Din Street north of the Wadi Gaza area in the central Gaza Strip.
On Saturday, the Israeli occupation army unleashed a cascade of intense airstrikes and onslaughts on homes, tents, residential high-rises, and a police station in different parts of the Gaza enclave, as part of its persistent breaches of the ceasefire accord, which killed 31 Palestinians and wounded dozens of others.
The Gaza Ministry of Health reported that the casualty toll from the Israeli carnage in the Gaza Strip has risen to 71,769 fatalities and 171,483 injuries since Oct. 7, 2023. (QNA)
