Doha, November 01 (QNA) - The Qatar News Agency (QNA) on Sunday held a three-day training course on producing media content using artificial intelligence, bringing together several of its staff members and personnel from several government entities as part of its Training Center's 2026 plan.

The course, presented by QNA AI specialists Osama Othman and Maryam Jihad, aims to substantially augment participants' skills in leveraging AI-powered applications across the media sector and enhance their ability to produce innovative written, audio and visual content. It also seeks to help participants keep abreast of rapid technological advances and the evolving demands of the digital media environment.

When it comes to applying AI in media production, the course familiarizes participants with the theoretical foundations and core concepts of these applications, while equipping them to harness the tools to accelerate and enrich content production and integrate the technologies into written, audio and visual production workflows.

These applications are instrumental in improving efficiency and fostering creativity, while the program also seeks to develop participants' skills in assessing the quality of AI-generated media content and verifying its credibility.

The two trainers also focus on strategies for integrating AI into media workflows and the mechanisms for harnessing it at every stage of content production, suggesting an increasingly substantive role for technological capabilities in complementing human creativity.

The course likewise addresses ethical standards governing the use of AI-generated outputs, underscoring the importance of credibility, accuracy and professional responsibility when producing and disseminating media content.

The training forms part of QNA's broader pursuit of enhancing professional and media skills and substantially strengthening the capabilities of media-sector personnel to keep pace with digital transformation.

It also seeks to harness the potential of AI applications to advance the content-production industry, improve operational efficiency and elevate the quality of media output, in accord with the rapidly evolving demands of the digital age. (QNA)
