Israeli Occupation Arrests Six Palestinians, Fires Toxic Gas in West Bank
Occupied Jerusalem, November 01 (QNA) - The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) arrested on Sunday six Palestinians and fired toxic tear gas canisters in various areas across the West Bank.
WAFA news agency reported that the IOF arrested four Palestinians south of Nablus, and another north of the occupied Jerusalem (Al-Quds), after having raided and searched their homes.
In southern Al-Khalil, the IOF arrested a shepherd in the Masafer Yatta area, while colonists surrounded a citizen's home in the town of Beit Ummar, north of the governorate.
The IOF fired toxic tear gas canisters toward vehicles at the entrance to the village of Nabi Saleh, northwest of Ramallah. They also set up a checkpoint at the village entrance, where they stopped and searched citizens' vehicles - causing a traffic jam, before firing tear gas canisters in the area.
The cities, towns, and refugee camps across the West Bank and Al-Quds witness daily raids and incursions by the IOF, often accompanied by confrontations, arrests, and the firing of live and rubber bullets, as well as tear gas canisters, at Palestinians. (QNA)
