Doha, October 6 (QNA) - Under the patronage of HE Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani the Organising Committee of the Qatar Boat Show announced that the third edition of the exhibition will be held from Nov. 4 to 7, 2026.

During a press conference held today at Old Doha Port, the committee unveiled the list of official partners for the third edition of the show. Partnership and sponsorship agreements were signed with several prominent entities and institutions, reflecting a shared vision and continued efforts to drive the growth of Qatar's maritime sector, enhance marine tourism standards and strengthen the country's position on the global stage.

CEO of Old Doha Port and Chairman of the Qatar Boat Show Organising Committee, Eng. Mohammed Abdullah Al Mulla said the organizers were proud of the significant growth of the third edition of the Qatar Boat Show, which reflected its growing position as a key platform for the maritime sector in Qatar and the region. He expressed particular pride in the continued growth of local participation and the increasing number of Qatari companies and manufacturers, which he said underscored the organisers' commitment to supporting the local maritime sector and strengthening its presence regionally and internationally.

The committee noted that 70 percent of previous exhibitors from countries around the world are continuing their participation this year, either maintaining or expanding their exhibition spaces through the launch of new brands. This year's edition is also seeing a 3 percent increase in participation by Gulf companies compared with the previous edition, alongside the launch of new boats. Several government entities, national institutions and first-time participating companies will also take part, reflecting growing confidence in the exhibition and its ability to attract leading companies, manufacturers and specialists in the maritime sector.

The committee stressed that cooperation and combined efforts between the public and private sectors are among the key pillars of the Qatar Boat Show's success, reflecting a shared ambition to consolidate Qatar's position as a leading destination for luxury lifestyle and marine tourism. It noted that the participation of major government entities and leading companies demonstrates growing confidence in the show and their pivotal role in developing the event and enhancing the experience of exhibitors, visitors and maritime industry professionals year after year.

For his part, Chief Operating Officer at Old Doha Port and Director of the Qatar Boat Show Eng. Mohammed Al Atwan, said the exhibition is not merely a platform for showcasing the latest developments in the maritime industry, but also brings together maritime industry leaders and creates new opportunities for networking, business and investment. Following the notable success of its previous two editions, the Qatar Boat Show has established itself as one of the region's leading exhibitions specializing in the maritime sector. He noted that the previous edition welcomed more than 27,000 visitors from 105 countries and featured marine vessels with a combined value exceeding QR 880 million.

Through the Qatar Boat Show, efforts continue to develop an integrated platform bringing together industry, trade, innovation and the maritime lifestyle, contributing to the growth of Qatar's maritime sector, strengthening its position as a leading regional destination for yachts and marine activities, and consolidating its presence on the global marine tourism and maritime industry map.

This integrated network of partnerships also contributes to enriching the visitor experience at every stage, from transportation and telecommunications services to distinctive cultural and entertainment experiences.

These partnerships embody a shared vision to support the future of the country's maritime and tourism sectors. Qatar Boat Show 2026 serves as a prominent platform for strengthening Qatar's presence as a leading global maritime destination and advancing its tourism and maritime sectors, in line with the aspirations of Qatar National Vision 2030.
