Three Injured in Attacks Targeting Jazan, Najran Airports
Riyadh, October 06 (QNA) - The Saudi General Authority of Civil Aviation said Tuesday that two airports in the kingdom's south were targeted in attacks on Monday evening, injuring three people and causing material damage.
King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz International Airport in Jazan and Najran International Airport were targeted in the attacks, which struck airport facilities, the authority said.
Emergency teams and relevant authorities responded immediately in line with established procedures and emergency plans, it added.
The three people sustained minor injuries and were taken to hospital for treatment.
The aviation authority said it was working with the relevant security agencies to assess the damage and take measures to ensure the safety of passengers and staff and the security of the kingdom's civil aviation system. (QNA)
