Ministry of Education and Higher Education to Mark World Teachers' Day
Doha, October 04 (QNA) - Under the patronage of HE Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani, the Ministry of Education and Higher Education will mark World Teachers' Day on Wednesday under the theme “Giving That Bears Fruit for Generations.”
The ceremony will honor 80 teachers from government schools in recognition of their outstanding contributions to education. It will also acknowledge their role in advancing the educational process, developing students' abilities and skills, and instilling the values and principles needed to shape their character and prepare them for the future.
The celebration will also feature an accompanying exhibition showcasing distinguished educational projects and applied research presented by students and teachers. It will highlight the teacher's role in developing students' research, critical-thinking, and innovation skills, as well as in harnessing knowledge and modern technologies to enhance educational practices and improve learning outcomes.
The ceremony reflects the Ministry's commitment to recognizing teachers' efforts, highlighting their standing and vital role in nurturing future generations, and raising community awareness of the importance of their educational mission in alignment with the human development goals of Qatar National Vision 2030, which place education and human capacity development at the forefront of national priorities.
