Doha, October 30 (QNA) - Al Gharafa left it late to beat Qatar SC 2-0 in Week 8 of 2026-2027 season Doha Bank Stars League at the Thani Bin Jassim Stadium on Friday.
Algerian Yacine Brahimi did the star turn for The Cheetahs as he scored a brace, striking in the 74th and 88th minutes.
It was Al Gharafa’s second win of the league, and it lifted them to nine points, while Qatar SC, suffering a fourth loss, stayed on six points.
Brahimi first picked on a Dame Traore assist to essay a long-ranger from outside the box and later broke into the box to dribble past a challenging Nasir Peer and beat the goalkeeper for another exciting goal.
Early in the opening half, Qatar SC made a good attempt, but were denied by a leaping Khalifa Ababacar who collected the ball in the top left corner. (QNA)
