Berlin, October 28 (QNA) - HE Director-General of Qatar News Agency (QNA), Ahmed bin Saeed Al Rumaihi visited the headquarters of the German Press Agency (DPA) in Berlin on October 27 and 28, meeting with its CEO, HE Peter Kropsch, to discuss ways to strengthen the partnership; expand cooperation; and exchange expertise between the two agencies.

During the visit, HE QNA's Director-General toured the German agency's newsroom and studios and received a presentation on the agency and its work models as well as general management mechanisms for news agencies and their operational strategies.

Furthermore, His Excellency participated in a session on artificial intelligence, its challenges and opportunities for news agencies; a lecture on DPA's approach to photojournalism; and another on its role in combating fake news in newsrooms.

HE Al Rumaihi also received briefings on the "Feedback Hub" platform for collecting feedback and comments; the "Rubix" content management system for newsrooms of the future; and the activities of "news aktuell", DPA's public relations subsidiary.

At the end of the visit, HE the Director-General of QNA discussed with DPA officials ways to strengthen their partnership; exchange professional expertise and experiences; and explore opportunities for job shadowing and training to support media development and enhance professional performance.
