Doha, October 26 (QNA) - The Public Prosecution, represented by its Criminal Studies Institute, received a delegation of cadets from Ahmed Bin Mohammed Military College as part of efforts to strengthen cooperation between judicial and military institutions and promote the exchange of legal knowledge.

The visit, part of the candidates' practical training program, included an introductory session in the institute's lecture hall. The candidates learned about the Public Prosecution's organizational structure, its work and its central role in Qatar's justice system, as well as an overview of key laws and procedures governing its operations in pursuit of justice.

The program also included field visits to several local prosecution offices, where the cadets observed daily operations firsthand. They learned how complaints are received and examined, how investigation records are prepared, and how case files are referred to and submitted to the competent courts. The visits provided an opportunity to connect their academic and theoretical knowledge with practical, on-the-ground experience.

The delegation also visited the Public Prosecution's library, an important resource for legal researchers and specialists in Qatar. The candidates reviewed its collection of legal references, periodicals and books specializing in criminal law.

The visit concluded with both sides emphasizing the importance of continuing such training programs, which serve as a vital bridge between academic study and practical experience.

The cadets expressed their appreciation for the opportunity to gain firsthand insight into legal work, commending the Public Prosecution's efforts to educate and train young legal professionals and enhance their preparedness to serve the country. (QNA)
