Damascus, January 06 (QNA) - Syrian Minister of Foreign Affairs Assad Al-Shaibani met on Tuesday in Paris with French Minister of Foreign Affairs Jean-Noel Barrot.

The two ministers discussed issues of mutual interest and explored ways to strengthen strategic partnerships between Syria and France, according to the Syrian News Agency (SANA).

The Ministers also discussed the possibility of French companies resuming operations in Syria.

Barrot reaffirmed France’s commitment to supporting Syria’s efforts in reconstruction and economic recovery, and to expanding cooperation between the two countries across various fields. (QNA)
