Tunis, January 5 (QNA) - Tunisia's inflation rate declined to 5.3 percent in 2025, compared to 7 percent in 2024.

The National Institute of Statistics in Tunisia stated in a report Monday that inflation, excluding energy and food, fell to 4.9 percent in December, down from 5 percent in November.

The institute attributed this stability to the increased rate of price growth in food products and the slower rate of price growth in restaurant, hotel, and café services.

The statistics also revealed a 6.1 percent increase in food prices and a 4.9 percent increase in prices for manufactured goods in December 2025. (QNA)
