Settlers Storm Al-Aqsa Mosque, Perform Talmudic Rituals Under Occupation Protection
Occupied Jerusalem, January 05 (QNA) - Dozens of Israeli settlers stormed Al-Aqsa Mosque compound on Monday under the protection of Israeli occupation forces.
The Jerusalem Governorate said that 80 settlers entered Al-Aqsa Mosque and performed provocative Talmudic rituals in its courtyards under the protection of occupation police, while an additional 350 settlers entered the compound through the tourism gate operated by the occupation authorities.
These incursions come amid an ongoing escalation by settler groups, which routinely storm Al-Aqsa Mosque daily, except Fridays and Saturdays, during morning and afternoon periods, to impose a temporal and spatial division of the mosque.
Last December, Al-Aqsa Mosque witnessed 27 incursions carried out by settlers, in a continuation of violations against Islamic holy sites in the Holy City. (QNA)
