Israeli Occupation Forces Conduct Fresh Raids, Arrests Across West Bank
Occupied Jerusalem, January 04 (QNA) - The Israeli occupation forces carried out large-scale raids and detentions in various parts across the occupied West Bank.
At dawn on Sunday, the occupation forces raided Ramallah and Nablus Governorates, the city of Dura south of Hebron, and the village of Qira in Salfit Governorate, where they broke into Palestinian homes, assaulted their owners, damaged their contents, and detained a number of Palestinians, the Palestinian News Agency (WAFA) reported, citing local sources.
In Qalqilya Governorate, Israeli troops fired live rounds at a vehicle during a raid on the village of Hableh.
In a related incident, a Palestinian was shot by Israeli forces in the town of Al Ram near the Separation Wall northeast of Jerusalem.
The cities, towns, and tents of the occupied West Bank and Jerusalem are coming under daily storming campaigns by the occupation forces and settlers, followed by clashes and arrests, in addition to the firing of live rounds, rubber bullets, as well as poisonous and tear-gas flashbangs at Palestinian youth.
The pace of these campaigns has escalated concomitantly with the Israeli aggression against the Gaza Strip since Oct. 7, 2023. (QNA)
