Kuwait, January 29 (QNA) - Kuwaiti Foreign Minister Abdullah Al Yahya met Thursday with UAE Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al-Nahyan, who is currently visiting Kuwait, to discuss bilateral relations and ways to strengthen and develop them in various fields.
The Kuwaiti Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement that the meeting addressed several issues of mutual interest, the latest regional and international developments, and explored frameworks for enhancing cooperation and coordination between the two countries to consolidate security and stability in the region.
The Kuwaiti Foreign Ministry added that following the meeting, the sixth session of the Kuwait-UAE Joint Higher Committee was held, chaired by the two countries' foreign ministers, during which several agreements and memoranda of understanding were signed. (QNA)
