Gaza, January 22 (QNA) - Four Palestinians were martyred on Thursday in Israeli occupation artillery shelling targeting eastern Gaza City.

Local sources reported that four civilians were martyred in Israeli occupation shelling outside the areas of Israeli deployment in Al-Zeitoun neighborhood. The incident occurred shortly after another Palestinian was martyred by Israeli fire at Bani Suheila roundabout east of Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip.

Earlier on Thursday, the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza announced that the death toll from the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023, has risen to 71,562 martyrs, with 171,379 people injured. (QNA)
