Doha, January 21 (QNA) - Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) index rose at the beginning of Wednesday's trading by 0.25%, gaining 28.35 points to reach 11,248 points, compared to the previous session's close, backed by all sectors.

Market data showed gains in Insurance (+1.07%), Telecoms (+0.53%), Industrials (+0.25%), Banks and Financial Services by (+0.20%), Real Estate (+0.11%), Transportation (+0.10%), and Consumer Goods and Services by (+0.02%).

By 10:00 am, QSE reported a turnover of QR 39.511 million from 21.059 million shares traded across 2,242 transactions. (QNA)
