Doha, January 21 (QNA) - The Qatar Research Development and Innovation Council (QRDI) announced that it will be a strategic partner for Web Summit Qatar 2026 for the third consecutive year, in addition to its role as the principal partner of the Corporate Innovation Summit, the high-level event that precedes the summit and brings together a selection of business leaders, decision-makers and innovation pioneers from around the world.

The council said, in a statement, that it will showcase, in cooperation with leading global institutions, its programs and initiatives during Web Summit Qatar 2026, which will be held at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Center (DECC) from February 1 to 4, with wide participation from around the world, in one of the region's foremost technology and innovation events.

The council's pavilion is located at site (E515), returning once again as a vital platform that brings together entrepreneurs, investors and innovation leaders from various countries, where the pavilion will highlight initiatives implemented by the council in partnership with local and international entities, and will also serve as a forum for networking and knowledge exchange.

Throughout the days of the event, participants will be able to attend panel sessions and specialised discussions aimed at accelerating growth across the country's expanding innovation ecosystem, in addition to supporting partnership-building and enhancing dialogues that contribute to achieving Qatar National Vision 2030.

The Corporate Innovation Summit brings together a selection of leaders and innovators to discuss the major challenges facing the business world, and provides a full-day networking experience, including advanced training sessions and opportunities to engage with pioneers shaping the future of the business sector in the 21st century.

Founded in Dublin and held annually in Lisbon, Portugal, the Web Summit is one of the world's leading technology and innovation events, and the Qatar edition represents the flagship event for the Middle East and North Africa region.

This year's edition is expected to attract more than 30,000 participants, including over 700 investors and more than 1,500 selected startups from around the world across multiple sectors, in addition to participation from more than 150 exhibitors and partners, including the QRDI, Snapchat and Amazon.
