Doha, January 20 (QNA) - Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) index rose at the beginning of Tuesday's trading by 0.23%, gaining 25.39 points to reach 11,230 points, compared to the previous session's close, backed by five sectors.

Market data showed gains in Telecoms (+0.78%), Industrials (+0.66%), Real Estate (+0.24%), Transportation (+0.12%), Insurance (+0.04%). On the other hand, the performance was negative for Consumer Goods and Services by (-0.01%), and Banks and Financial Services by (-0.05%).

By 10:00 am, QSE reported a turnover of QR 54.771 million from 23.450 million shares traded across 2,930 transactions. (QNA)
