Doha, January 20 (QNA) - Qatar Football Association (QFA) has announced the schedule for the Round of 16 matches of the 54th edition of HH the Amir Cup 2026, following the draw for this stage earlier Tuesday.

The Round of 16 matches will be played with 16 teams, two matches per day, at the Suhaim Bin Hamad stadium, Hamad Bin Khalifa stadium, Hamad Al Kabir stadium, and Abdullah Bin Khalifa stadium from February 12 to 15.

Prior to the draw, the teams were divided into two levels. The first level included the teams that finished in the top eight positions in the previous edition of the Qatar Stars League (2024-2025), while the second level included the teams that finished in the bottom nine positions, along with the four teams that qualified from the preliminary round.

The matches kick off on February 12 when Al Duhail face Al Waab at Suhaim Bin Hamad Stadium, and on the same day, Al Wakrah takes on Al Sailiya at Hamad Bin Khalifa Stadium.

On February 13, Al Shamal meets Qatar SC at Hamad Bin Khalifa Stadium, and on the same day, Al Shahaniya plays Al Arabi at Abdullah Bin Khalifa Stadium.

The matches continue with two fixtures on February 14. The first sees defending champions Al Gharafa face Al Kharaitiyat at Hamad Bin Khalifa Stadium, while Al Rayyan play Al Khor at Suhaim Bin Hamad Stadium.

The round concludes on February 15 with Al Sadd playing Al Markhiya at Hamad Bin Khalifa Stadium in the first match, followed by Al Ahli against Umm Salal at Abdullah Bin Khalifa Stadium.

Al Gharafa won the title in the previous edition of the tournament, defeating Al Rayyan 2-1 in the final.

The previous 53 editions of the tournament saw eight teams win the title, with Al Sadd being the most decorated with 19 titles, followed by Al Arabi with 9, then Al Gharafa with 8, Al Rayyan with 6, Al Ahli and Al Duhail each winning the title 4 times, Qatar SC winning it twice, and Umm Salal winning it once.
