Beirut, January 19 (QNA) - Lebanon's President Joseph Aoun affirmed on Monday the importance of holding the parliamentary elections in due time, calling all Lebanese people to vote and elect the one who has clear political legitimacy to serve the country.

Anoun stated that Lebanon is rich in its human capabilities. It allowed initiatives of Lebanese people to preserve Lebanon's presence and overcome obstacles.

The elections are a personal and individual responsibility and a right to all citizens that must be practiced in conscience and national awareness, he added.

The parliamentary elections are set to be held next May, according to the constitutional and legal date and with the commitment of holding them within the time framework set by the Lebanese parliament election law of electing 128 members. (QNA)
