Doha, January 19 (QNA) - HE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defense Affairs Sheikh Saoud bin Abdulrahman bin Hassan Al-Thani held a number of bilateral meetings with several ranking international officials, on the sidelines of the first day of the Doha International Maritime Defence Exhibition and Conference (DIMDEX) 2026.

His Excellency met with HE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense of Georgia Irakli Chikovani, HE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense of the Republic Croatia Ivan Anusic, HE Minister Delegate to the Minister of National Defense and Chief of Staff of the People's National Army of Algeria Gen. Said Chanegriha, HE Minister for Defense Procurement and Industry of the United Kingdom Luke Pollard, HE President of Turkiye's Defence Industry Agency Dr. Haluk Gorgun, and HE Deputy Minister of National Defense of the Republic of Turkiye Musa Heybet.

The meetings discussed a number of topics of common interest and ways to strengthen and develop them.

The meetings were attended by a number of ranking officers and officials. (QNA)
