Doha, January 16 (QNA) - Al Sadd defeated Al Ahli 2-0 in Week 13 of 2025-2026 season Doha Bank Stars League at the Jassim Bin Hamad Stadium on Friday.

Al Sadd kept it late before finding the net with Rafa Mujica bagging the first goal of the highly entertaining encounter in the 82nd minute, nodding home a precise cross from Hashim Ali, to the admiration of their bench and fans who had been on edge for most part of the game.

Al Ahli were reduced to 10 men in three minutes of added time, with Khalid Radwan being given the marching orders for a foul on Akram Afif and the hosts capitalized on their numerical advantage as they bagged their second of the night seven minutes later through Hashim Ali with the assist provided by Afif.

The result pushed Al Sadd to 26 points, while Al Ahli remained on 15 points. (QNA)
