Moscow, January 15 (QNA) – The Russian Ministry of Defense announced Thursday that its air defense systems shot down 34 Ukrainian drones over various regions of Russian territory last night.

In a statement, the ministry said that Russian air defense systems downed 19 drones over Rostov Oblast, six over Bryansk Oblast, five over Volgograd Oblast, one each over Belgorod, Kursk, and Voronezh Oblasts, and one over the Sea of ​​Azov.

Russia and Ukraine exchange reports almost daily, each claiming to have intercepted attacks from the other. These claims cannot be independently verified due to the ongoing war and fighting that began in February 2022. (QNA)
