Jordanian Foreign Minister, Irish Counterpart Discuss Bilateral Relations, Middle East Developments
Amman, January 14 (QNA) - Jordanian Foreign Minister Ayman Al Safadi met on Wednesday with his Irish counterpart, Helen McEntee, who is currently visiting Amman, to discuss ways to strengthen relations between the two countries.
During the meeting, the two ministers also discussed developments in the Middle East, particularly the situation in the Gaza Strip.
On this occasion, Al Safadi warned of the dangers of Israel's unilateral and illegal actions in the West Bank and its violations of Islamic and Christian holy sites in occupied Jerusalem, which are pushing the situation toward an explosion and undermining all efforts to de-escalate tensions and the chances of achieving a just peace based on the two-state solution.
