Saudi Stock Market Closes Higher as Main Index Gains 136 Points
Riyadh, January 12 (QNA) - Saudi Arabia's main stock market index closed higher on Monday, rising by 135.69 points to end the session at 10,745.45 points.
Trading turnover on the Tadawul reached SAR 5.1 billion, with a total of 261 million shares exchanged. Shares in 216 listed companies recorded gains, while 42 companies saw their share prices fall.
In contrast, the parallel market index, Nomu, closed lower. It fell by 31.80 points to 23,586.94, with trading value amounting to SAR 23 million. More than two million shares were traded on the parallel market. (QNA)
