Israeli Occupation Forces Conduct Incursion into Southern Syria, Arrest Young Man
Damascus, January 12 (QNA) - Israeli occupation forces on Monday carried out an incursion into Al-Mushayrifa village in northern Quneitra, southern Syria.
Local sources reported that the Israeli occupation forces arrested a young man during the operation. They added that the force, consisting of three vehicles, penetrated the village and set up a temporary checkpoint.
Israel continues to violate the 1974 disengagement agreement by conducting incursions into southern Syria, targeting civilians through raids, arrests, and land leveling.
Syria continues to demand the withdrawal of Israeli forces from its territory, asserting that all measures taken by the occupation in southern Syria are null and void and have no legal effect under international law. The Syrian government called on the international community to assume its responsibilities, curb the occupation's actions, and ensure its full withdrawal from southern Syria. (QNA)
